Quality of Care, Quality of Life
The aim of Curam Care Homes is to provide community and social opportunities for our residents through a person-centred approach. This includes empowering each individual to remain active in their social, religious and recreational activities and to stay connected with family, friends and the wider community.
Who we are
Curam Care Homes was set up in 2017 by a group of like minded people who had been involved in elder care for a number of years and who saw a requirement to provide quality care communities. We believe that care homes should be close to where people have lived all their lives and that these homes should be part of their neighbourhood and their community.
Our vision is to provide the highest quality of care to our residents, with a modern approach. We provide support on a physical and emotional level, improving the health, security and overall well-being of our residents, whether they are staying with us long term or short term.
Curam Care Homes currently operates homes in Dublin, Louth, Wicklow and Wexford, and we are very excited to open our next Curam home in Carrigaline in Autumn 2023. Curam Care Homes have plans for further expansion over the next 5 years.
What we Offer
The individual’s needs and wishes are central to our Philosophy that is what each resident is seen as – an Individual.
Our philosophy of care is to provide each individual in our care with a dedicated individual care and support plan, tailored to meeting their needs. Each of our Care Homes has a full programme of activities, which has been carefully designed by our experienced Care Team, which will encourage participation in daily activities that promote physical, mental and social well being.
We believe our residents can do amazing things, and our Team can help them achieve them!
Each Individual is at the heart of what we do
Healthy Ageing and Well-Being
Ageing healthily is what we all aspire to. Healthy Ageing is about maintaining the functional ability that allows you to do the things you value and is what we all aspire to. Older people continue to have aspirations to well-being and respect regardless of declines in physical and mental capacity.
At Curam Care Homes, we enable older people who experience a decline in capacity to receive the care and support that they need for their well-being both physical and emotional and to contribute to their Healthy Ageing.
Healthy ageing means optimising opportunities for physical, social and mental health to enable older people to take an active part in society without discrimination and to enjoy an independent and good quality of life. This means taking a holistic approach, taking into consideration the many different aspects of life which play a role.
Healthy Ageing is at the heart of what we do
