Staff and residents across all Curam Care Homes came together on Friday 28th February to celebrate Denim Day for Dementia.

Denim Day for Dementia is an annual initiative that encourages individuals and organisations to wear denim to raise funds for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

Residents across Curam Care Homes embraced the cause with enthusiasm, organizing a range of activities, including a lively danceathon, a bike/walkathon, a delicious bake sale, and a fun-filled carnival-themed fundraiser, all in the spirit of giving back.

The sounds of music and laughter filled the home as the residents at Curam Care Home Dundalk held a Dance-a-thon for their fundraiser.  Those who could took to the floor to dance for dementia awareness, while those who couldn’t were able to dance along in their chairs proving that you don’t need to be on your feet to feel the rhythm!

With music filling the room, they danced right in their chairs—clapping, swaying, and laughing together while raising funds for The Alzheimer Society of Ireland!
