Investing in Excellence
To ensure the highest standards of care, staff across our homes have completed CARU End of Life Training.
Developed by the Irish Hospice Foundation in partnership with the All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care (AIIHPC) and the HSE, CARU equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide compassionate, person-centred end-of-life care.
This specialised training strengthens our team’s ability to support residents and families with empathy, sensitivity and professionalism when it matters most.

Etlicán is the Old Irish word meaning “little winged creature” and is the foundation of the modern Irish word for butterfly, féileacán. The butterfly has long been recognised as a symbol of transformation and gentle transition. Our Etlicán symbol has been thoughtfully created using the heart from the Curam logo, forming a butterfly that represents both the journey of life and keeping care at the heart of everything we do. |
