Leadership Team

James White
Director & Chief Executive Officer
James brings over four decades of business leadership and a deep commitment to community based elder care.
Before founding Curam Care Homes with Seamus Killeen, James was the Managing Director of Wygram Nursing Home, a well-regarded nursing home in Wexford Town known for delivering high-quality residential care for older adults.
A qualified accountant since 1981, James combines extensive financial expertise with a long-standing passion for person-centred care. He has over 30 years of voluntary service as both a carer and a group leader with The Irish Pilgrimage Trust, a national charity that brings young people with additional needs on pilgrimage to Lourdes or for a holiday in Ireland. James previously served as the organisation’s National Chairperson.
As CEO, James is dedicated to advancing Curam Care Homes’ mission to deliver quality of care and quality of life for residents through exceptional, person-focused nursing home care. His strategic vision centres on care homes being close to where people have lived all of their lives and building care communities where residents feel valued, supported, and empowered to live with choice.
A native of Wexford, James lives in Barntown with his wife Chris and son Alexander.

Seamus Killeen
Director & Chief Operations Officer
Seamus brings over 45 years of senior management and leadership experience to his role at Curam Care Homes, with a proven track record across both public and private sector organisations.
Seamus was an officer in the Irish Defence Forces, serving for 25 years in a range of command and staff roles in the Defence Forces Training Centre and Defence Forces Headquarters.
During this time, he served on overseas missions with the United Nations in Lebanon and Iraq, gaining invaluable experience in operational leadership.
Following his military career, Seamus transitioned to the private sector, becoming General Manager at a leading property development company. In 2006, he entered the elder residential care sector as Managing Director of a private nursing home operating company, where he applied his leadership and organisational skills to enhance quality of care and operational efficiency.
In 2014, Seamus became a Director of Wygram Nursing Home, a respected care facility in Wexford known for its commitment to high-quality nursing home care and in 2018 became a Director of Curam Care Homes.
With his diverse background, and skills in organisational leadership, healthcare operations, and strategic development, Seamus brings a wealth of experience and plays a key role in supporting Curam Care Homes’ mission to deliver quality of care and quality of life for residents through excellence in person-centred care.

Audrey Beckett
Director of Care, Quality & Standards
RGN, DIP, HE. BNS (Honours)
Audrey is a highly experienced and compassionate Registered General Nurse with extensive post-registration expertise across critical care, acute medicine, community health, and residential care settings. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Audrey holds an Honours Degree in Nursing and has furthered her qualifications with a Diploma in Health Services Management from Westmoreland College of Business and Management.
With over 16 years of senior leadership experience in the nursing home sector, Audrey has held pivotal roles as both Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing. Her commitment to excellence in elder care is reinforced by her completion of a Level 8 qualification in Managing and Leading in Healthcare at South East Technological University (formerly Waterford Institute of Technology).
Audrey has overall accountability, responsibility and authority for promoting and managing safeguarding within Curam Care Homes. The identification of Audrey as having overall executive accountability for the provision of a safe service demonstrates her commitment to ensuring she oversees a service which is well-governed and does the right thing for residents to ensure they receive care and support appropriate to their wishes.
Audrey’s professional focus includes organisational development, staff training, and clinical governance. She is deeply passionate about empowering older adults through person-centred care and advanced care planning. Under Audrey’s leadership, care delivery is guided by a strong belief in resident autonomy, family involvement, and collaborative support—ensuring that every individual receives high-quality, respectful, and meaningful care tailored to their needs.

Laura Collins
Director of Risk and Compliance
Laura graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in General Nursing from Waterford Institute of Technology (now South East Technological University). She began her career in the nursing home sector, progressing from Staff Nurse to Director of Nursing. In 2021, Laura joined the Curam Care Home team, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to resident-centred care.
Throughout her career, Laura discovered a passion for risk and compliance, where she has plays a key role in ensuring and supporting the homes with adherence to regulatory standards all whilst fostering a culture that empowers residents to take positive risks. Her approach balances robust regulatory compliance with the promotion of autonomy and dignity, supporting residents in making meaningful decisions about their care.
Laura also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Service Management and the Care of the Older Person in Residential Care from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), reflecting her ongoing dedication to leadership, quality, and excellence in elder care.

Jaya Rajeev has been a passionate advocate for excellence in nursing care since completing her BSc in Nursing in 2008. With a strong commitment to advancing her expertise, she earned her master’s in advanced nursing from the UK in 2012. Her academic achievements laid a solid foundation for her career, which has been defined by a deep dedication to providing high-quality, person-centered care.
Since 2014, Jaya Rajeev has been an integral part of Ireland’s nursing home sector, where she has consistently demonstrated her leadership, compassion, and unwavering focus on enhancing the quality of life for residents. Her extensive experience and empathetic approach ensure that each resident feels valued, respected, and supported in a nurturing environment.
As a nursing home director, Jaya Rajeev fosters a culture of dignity and inclusivity, empowering her team to deliver exceptional care tailored to each individual’s needs. Her dedication to person-cantered care continues to inspire positive transformations within the community she serves.

Spergeon Franklin Jeyarathinam
Director of Nursing

Spergeon is a qualified registered nurse with experience in Accident and Emergency and in residential care settings in Ireland. He has held posts as Assistant Director of Nursing and as Director of Nursing. He specialises in change management and has worked closely with Community Health organisation and the HSE.
With a BSc in Nursing, a Masters in Professional Practice in Nursing from University of South Wales, United Kingdom, QQI Level 6 – Leadership in Nursing Home Management, Manual and People moving and Handling Trainer, Spergeon brings a wealth of practical experience to his role of Director of Nursing.
Spergeon’s areas of professional interest include clinical governance, leadership and staff development.
Spergeon is passionate about patient centered care, a holistic approach to care of the older person, and establishing a Positive Work Environment.

Camillus Cooke
Director of Nursing

Highly capable and passionate Director of Nursing with 29 years’ experience. An established leader who leads by example through respect, hard work and commitment , motivating others to achieve. Camilus started her career in Mater Hospital where she remained for 14 years, she has held numerous Director of Nursing posts, she holds a BSc in Nursing, Fetac Certificate Level 6 in Managing People and Gerontology.
Camillus has extensive change management experience, including co-ordination of numerous projects, risk management, infection prevention and control guidance, staff support, team working and team management Camillus believes in the development of the workforce so that staff are equipped for not only today, but for the challenges facing healthcare in the future.

Emma Moynihan
Director of Nursing
Emma is a qualified Mental Health Nurse. Emma has a Diploma in Health Services management and Certificate in Essential Palliative Care

Emma’s passion for the provision of meaningful residential care began early in her career when she worked within residential Intellectual Disability services. It was here that she learned how integral person-centred care is to the quality of life and wellbeing of residents. After returning to University to study Mental health Nursing, Emma developed a keen interest in dementia care which resulted in her pursuing a career in older persons residential care. Emma has worked in several nursing homes throughout the country where she has held senior management roles.
Emma leads by example and strives to ensure that a high quality of care is delivered to all of our residents. Emma strongly believes that if residents feel safe, happy and occupied in their environment, they will then feel content and at home.
