Quality of Care, Quality of Life.
The aim of Curam Care Homes is to provide community and social opportunities for our residents through a person-centered approach.
Our award winning care includes empowering each individual to remain active in their social, religious and recreational activities, and to stay connected with family, friends and the wider community.

Who we are
Curam Care Homes was set up in 2017 by a group of like minded people who had been involved in elder care for many years and who saw a requirement to provide quality care communities.
We believe that care homes should be close to where people have lived all their lives and that these homes should be part of their neighbourhood and their community.
Our vision is to provide the highest quality of care to our residents, with a modern approach.

Where do we see our future in increasing our Prescence in the Care Home Sector
1. Leasing new homes
- Where the site/property has been put together by Curam with a sale and leaseback to a property fund. This would entail Curam carrying out the early stage development work (purchasing site, obtaining planning permission etc.) which we have a strong track record in.
- Where a developer/investor has already identified the site/property.
2. Leasing existing homes
- First time lease of a new home when acquired by a fund/investor.
- Leasing from owners who may wish to retire but not sell the property.
- Taking over/acquiring a group with no properties but which has leases in place (renegotiated on sustainable terms if required).
- Stepping into existing (renegotiated on sustainable terms if required).
3. Managing homes/groups
Criteria
Any opportunities that are presented to the Curam group will be assessed on a case by case basis, but in general we will be guided by:
- Quality of care and reputation of the Curam brand – this is front and central. We do not want to damage it.
- Not wanting to commit significant capital to new homes, but being willing to invest reasonable sums to secure new homes in good locations (i.e site acquisition and planning costs pre-sale).
- Taking on new or modern homes where possible. If considering older homes this has to be considered for in the financials/terms.
- Excluding West and North West Ireland.
