Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care and quality of life for our residents, and to provide community and social opportunities for them through a person-centered approach to care.

This includes empowering each individual to remain active in their social, religious and recreational activities, and to stay connected with family, friends and the wider community.

Curam is the Irish word for Care and reemphasizes the key message in our mission statement. The word Curam is also made up of the first letters of our Values which help us to deliver on our mission to provide the highest quality of care and quality of life for our residents, and make Curam Care Homes a great and rewarding place to work.

Curam Care Homes Values

Our Values

Care for our residents is at the centre of everything we do. We pride ourselves on our person centred approach to caring for our residents. The lives of our residents are impacted positively every day by our actions, conversations and gestures. This caring nature is emulated within our teams in the way in which we empower and support one another in our daily interactions.

Our Group is built on people – warm, friendly and committed people. All Curam Care Homes staff have a part to play in delivering the highest quality of care to our residents and this care would not be delivered without us all working together and supporting each other on a daily basis. Together we are better.

Key to our Company Mission is respect – this covers both respect for our colleagues and respect for our residents. All Curam Care Homes staff respect a resident’s rights to self-determination, individuality and privacy, and ensure that those rights are protected and that residents are assisted in meeting their personal needs.

Our teams respect the diverse culture that we have developed within Curam Care Homes and embrace all of our individuality.

Our working environment is all about people – our teams, our residents and their families. A very important part of our day is the recognition and understanding that with so many people comes the challenge of unpredictability.

It is key to supporting our residents that we are capable of and comfortable with adapting to the situations we encounter on a daily basis and use our qualifications, training and experience to ensure the best outcomes for our residents and our staff.

Moving into a care home can be a difficult decision for our residents and their families to make and it is hugely important that whilst they are living in a Curam Care Home, their lives have as much meaning and purpose as possible.

All of us can contribute to this aim on a daily basis in our behaviours and our interactions with residents.  At Curam Care Homes you are supported to carry out a role that gives you a sense of purpose and fulfillment within an organisation that creates a sense of accomplishment, impact, and overall well-being.
