Mel is a qualified registered nurse with experience in Care of the Older Person for over 20 years. With a BSc in Nursing, a Masters in Health and Safety and a Fetac Level 6 Certificate in Leadership and Management in the Homecare Setting, Mel brings both the academic credentials and practical experience to her role of Director of Nursing.
Mel is passionate about the provision of a person-centred approach to care and strongly believes in the Curam moto, Quality of Care brings Quality of Life. She also strives to empower her staff to work as a team, clinical and non-clinical, working closely together to achieve and maintain the happy, homely environment we experience in Knockrobin.
